Dr. Lucas grew up outside of Hortonville on his parents’ farm. They raise beef cattle, meat chickens and pigs that are direct marketed. Dr. Lucas attended UW-River Falls for his undergraduate degree and graduated from UW-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine in 2022. Throughout his schooling Dr. Lucas developed a deep passion for the dairy industry. He is particularly interested in milk quality, calf lung ultrasound, and dairy records analysis. He is looking forward to working with the knowledgeable and passionate farmers of Northeast Wisconsin. In his time outside of the clinic, Dr. Lucas enjoys hunting deer and turkeys, helping out at his parents farm, and watching the Packers.
